Timber frame, new build thatch extension, solar thermal hot water, Devon thatch and cedar cladding. Completed 2007.

This extension to a traditional thatch farmhouse cottage, was in keeping with the rural Devon vernacular on Dartmoor. The project involved a south facing light and airy timber frame extension, for clients with an organic small holding. This unique project involved a new traditional reed thatch roof, and solar thermal hot water system.
